The meeting is taking place in Houston, Texas, USA on October 28th and 29th, 2019.   For questions on logistics, please contact Christopher Tunnell and Andrew Renshaw.

For urgent help or if lost, please call ‭+1 (713) 893-7148.

The venue is called the BRC Rice University, which stands for BioSciences Research Collaborative.  We will be on the 10th floor conference room with a nice view of the city.

Hotels:  There are multiple hotels in the Houston Medical Center along Main St near Rice University, where all of these are a few minute walk from the venue.  We typically use the “Wyndham Houston – Medical Center Hotel”, though the InterContinental opened up next door and is similarly priced.

Travel to Houston by air: Houston is conveniently connected to many major cities in the world by George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)

From IAH airport to Wyndham hotel or Intercontinental: takes about 30 minutes by Taxis/Uber/Rental car. Shared shuttle service is also available by SuperShuttle: https://www.supershuttle.com/locations/houston-iah-hou/

Workshop dinner:  The workshop dinner will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday the 28th at Cyclone Anaya’s in Rice Village, which is in Rice Village and a 20 minute walk from the meeting venue.  Click here for directions.

Dining options – Rice Village for dinner on Sunday or Tuesday.

A workshop on the computational aspects (analysis tools, machine learning, distributed computing, data acquisition) of current direct-detection dark matter experiments and medium-sized neutrino experiments.
